So, nach einem arbeitsamen Wochenende (aua) nimmt unser Offenstall langsam Formen an.
Wir haben uns an Jessicas Erfahrungen gehalten und von Hübner-Lee Gitterplatten bestellt die man direkt in den Matsch legen kann.
Ging wirklich ganz gut, dank der letzten starken Regenfälle konnte man den Matsch wie flüssigen Beton glatt schieben, wichtig da der Paddock leicht am Hang liegt und der Boden sehr uneben war.





Leider ist doch noch mehr Paddock über geblieben als erwartet, ca. 100qm Matsch warten jetzt noch auf uns. 8)
Die werden wir aber wohl einfach vom Stallbesitzer mit Schotter und Sand auffüllen lassen.



Unsere Pferde waren super, wir konnten quasi um sie rum legen.

Auch der Bagger mit Sand konnte nicht stören :D

Betreff des Beitrags:  Total gefrustet
Hallo Ihr Lieben, ich bin ziemlich gefrustet über die Haltungsbedingungen meines "Kleinen" (1,5 Jahre Hengst). Er befindet sich in einer Anlage mit Einzelboxen und einigen Offenstallboxen. Bisher war er mit seinen gleichaltrigen Kumpels in einer Riesenbox untergebracht. Nun sind die Jungs getrennt worden und er steht im letzten Loch. Da er vor 4 Wochen durch leichte Strahlfäule auffiel, gehe ich seither regelmäßig 2-3x die Woche hin. OK, es ist wenig, aber mehr schaffe ich nicht. Dabei fällt mir nun auf, dass seine Boxe sehr selten gemistet wird.
Vorgestern kam ich abends hin. Es war den ganzen Nachmittag Schneesturm und es hatte wohl keiner mehr mit Einstellern gerechnet. Ich war wie vom Donner gerührt. Er stand fesselhoch im braunen nassen Mist, kein trockener Halm in der Box, sogar in der Futterkrippe las ein Haufen Äppel (die waren nicht mehr warm und feucht....). Er knabberte an feuchtem Heu, das auf der Schei... lag.
Ich habe erstmal alles ausgemistet und saubergemacht und frisches Heu geholt.
Jetzt weiß ich echt nicht weiter, wohin auf die schnelle mit meinem Hengstchen, keiner in der Nähe will einen Hengst, alle sagen der muss erst gelegt werden, bzw. im Winter kann man niemanden dazustellen.
Im Sommer und Herbst war es echt ok, ich war zufrieden, Riesenweiden und mit der ganzen Wallachbande und den anderen Junghengsten draußen, aber jetzt....
Habt Ihr noch einen Stalltipp? Habt ihr schonmal ähnliche Erfahrungen im Pensionstall gemacht und wie habt ihr reagiert.

Dein Kleiner muss sofort da raus! Der sollte noch eine Weile mit Hengstkumpels zusammen im Offenstall leben dürfen!

Hattest Du nicht einen eigenen Stall? Hol Dir doch lieber einen 2. Junghengst dazu u. stell Deinen dahin. Oder frag doch mal Benito- die wohnt doch in Deiner Gegend.
