Er ist da ..... darf ich vorstellen "Caftan des Aures" *12

Zwei Jahr bin ich um diesen Bub herum geschlichen. Auf der einen Seite fand ich ihn faszinierend und auf der anderen Seite schreckte mich seine Farbe.

Ihr habt richtig gelesen - ich habe ihn nicht wegen seiner Farbe sondern trotz seiner Farbe nun doch geholt.

Der Bub ist marokkanischer Araber Berber und stammt aus der Zucht "des Aures" von Henry Dissert aus Frankreich.

Nachdem Guerrouane ja nun seid einiger Zeit schon im Vorruhesstand ist (eine gespaltene Sehne die nun zwar ausgeheilt ist aber immer einen Schwachpunkt darstellt) soll Caftan seinen Job als Reitpferd übernehmen und in absehbarer Zeit den Guero Töchtern als Liebhaber zur Verfügung stehen.

Ich freu mich schon auf seine Ausbildung

Herzlichen Glückwunsch! Wie alt ist er denn und gibt es noch ein Foto von der Seite, wo man den Herrn in seiner ganzen Pracht sieht?
Mich schreckt diese Farbe auch, aber wenn sonst alles stimmt soll das kein Hindernis sein.
Es ist ja schade um Gerrouane. Wie hat er das geschafft mit der Sehne?

Wie Guero das geschafft hat ... hmm .... frag mich mal.
Wir hatten vor 2 Jahren mit undefinierten Unregelmäßigkeiten zutun. Nicht wirklich lahm aber immer mal zu spüren.
Nachdem wir also mehrere Tierärzte durchhatten, Ultraschall, Röntgen und Leitungsanästesien und kein Ergebnis bin ich mit dem Jungen in die Klinik gefahren und er wurde auf den Kopf gestellt. Schließlich wurde ein kleiner Spalt in der tiefen Beugesehne gefunden. Nicht groß aber vorhanden- beim Schall nach 3 Monaten war er erst nicht mehr zu sehen um dann fesstzustellen das er gewandert war. Und so haben wir ein gutes Jahr daran herumlaboriert bis alles verheilt war.
Leider ist durch die ganze Sache die Sehne zu einem guten Drittel vernarbt und damit nicht mehr elastisch. Das birgt die Gefahr das sie schneller wieder Schaden nimmt und dieses Risiko auszuschliessen ist er reiterlich in Rente.
Er lebt in seinem eigenen kleinen Offenstall neben den anderen Pferden und hat einen großen Paddock und auch eine eigene Weide zur Verfügung und feiert auch zwischendurch mal Partys aber reiten ... naja ... reiten ist nicht alles auch wenn ich ihn sehr sehr gern geritten habe .....
Aber es geht ihm gut und er ist noch eifrig bemüht die Welt mit seinen Kindern zu bevölkern *na

Caftan ist 4 Jahre alt.
Er bekommt jetzt erst einmal etwas zeit sich mit den anderen Umständen anzufreunden und dann beginnen wir mit der Arbeit .... ich freu mich drauf *klimper

Ich habe ihn (noch) nicht gemessen schätze ihn aber auf ca. 153cm
allerdings fängt er gerade wieder an zu wachsen ....

Der ist echt chic! Schön kompakt. Gefällt mir gut. Das Rosa im Gesicht mag ich immer nicht so, aber dieser Schimmer auf seinem Fell sieht echt toll aus! 8)
Bin gespannt ob er auch unterm Sattel in Gerouans Hufspuren treten kann. Drücke dir die Daumen dafür!

wenn man einmal einen farblosen im stall hat, wird man sehr schmerzfrei gegenüber fischaugen-ablehnern *na und farbzuchtgeunke *tuete

ist doch gut, dass du letztlich doch die entscheidung getroffen hast für ihn. so hat er zumindest die chance als deckhengst :) ... alles gute mit dem buben - er wird ganz sicher seine qualitäten haben unter dem sattel.
